Another week of good training. Did 82 miles this week and all the important things - endurance, technique, ability to sit on the saddle for long periods - are steadily improving. Enjoyed a beautiful ride yesterday with the Seacoast Team, but opted to ride solo this morning. Well, at least that was the plan. 1 mile into the ride, I hooked up with 3 riders who said they were heading out for a flat, recreational ride. Well, judging by their bikes - and their legs - I was suspect, but latched onto the back of them. WOW, what a ride! By far the fastest I've ridden thus far; it was all I could do to hang on in some parts. Man, could those guys climb. Looks like I've still got some work to do, but as I kept reminding myself, "what doesn't kill me makes me stronger."

As you can see, my fundraising is also proceeding nicely. BIG THANX to those who have contributed so far.

I'll check in next weekend. Until then, have a great week.

Love and peace,
Bob
